Welcome to New Hope Elementary! My name is Debra Simons, and I am honored to serve as the principal of this incredible school. I’ve been in education for 20 years and have proudly spent 17 of those years as part of the New Hope family—as a parent, teacher, assistant principal, and now principal.

As the daughter of a military father, I grew up with a deep understanding of the value of service and commitment to others. These values have shaped my approach to leadership and education. I believe in building strong relationships, fostering a positive school culture, and working collaboratively with families and staff to support the success of every child.

I’m excited for the upcoming school year and look forward to a wonderful partnership with you. Together, we can make this the best year yet for our students!
