Administration- Assistant Principal

Hello! Welcome to the New Hope Elementary Administration Page. My name is Brittany Laviner and I am proud to serve as New Hope’s Assistant Principal. I am going into my 6th year in education and can proudly say that Wilson County Schools has been home to me for all 6 of those years. I started out in the classroom as a 2nd grade teacher, became an AIG teacher for the county, and now serve as an Assistant Principal. 

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my sweet baby girl, Ansley, who is almost one. My husband and I enjoy spending time with our families at White Lake and Southport. We have been married for 5 years and together for 10 and our little girl is the light of our life. I like to read, enjoy fresh air, shop with mom, and spend time with my younger sister as well. 

As an educator, I am a firm believer in building relationships and maintaining leadership in a fair and equitable manner. Empowering leaders in the building and community through strong foundations of belonging, encouragement, and communication are important to remain successful. These aspects help to lay the building blocks for a strong and successful school, with students being the main focus. I look forward to another wonderful school year at New Hope and know that with these philosophies in mind, we will create strong and worthwhile lasting impacts.
